Climate of Uzbekistan

Climate of Uzbekistan - is sharply continental, hot and dry. The average winter temperature ranges from -8 °C to +3 °C but may fall as low as -35 °C. In summer, temperature in the northern parts of the country comes to +32 °C, and in the south to +42 ° C.

The best time to travel to Uzbekistan is spring (April to June) and autumn (September-October). The period from the last decade of June to early August in Uzbekistan is called "chilla" (forty days). At this time the air temperature in the shade during the day rises above +40 ° C, and at night does not fall below +25 ° C. Rooms at all hotels are equipped with air conditioners.
