In Tajikistan, it is most convenient to travel on buses and minibuses or sedans. The scheduled buses run between major cities in the country (mainly around Dushanbe andin the south of Tajikistan). Minivans are available for almost all directions.Minvans hit the road, only when all the seats are occupied. If you do not want to wait, you can pay for empty seats and hit the road immediately.
By train you can get from Dushanbe to Khujand and from Kurgan-Tube to Khujand, in both cases you had to transit through Termez, Uzbekistan.
"TajikistanAirlines" and “Somoni Air” operate several domestic flights within Tajikistan. There are daily flight from Dushanbe to Khujand which connects capital city with eastern city and there is another domestic flightfrom Dushanbe toKhorog. Domestic flights are f extremely depends on weather and delays in flights could be seen frequently,especially during winter time.
