Visa invitation letter to Azerbaijan
Citizens of most
countries are required a letter of invitation (LOI) to obtain a
tourist visa to Azerbaijan. You can purchase
only LOI or with voucher. If LOI bought with tourist voucher
then $20 consular fee will be applied for tourist visa. If you
apply for tourist visa with only LOI then consular fee range
from $40 to $130 depending on the
circumstances of your application. Usually it takes 2-4 days to
prepare LOI.

Important note!!!
In august of 2011 the
authorities of Azerbaijan announced new rules of issuing visa
invitation letter/letter of invitation. According to new rules
LOIs must be approved by the ministry of foreign affairs of
Azerbaijan. However, embassies of Azerbaijan abroad are
interpreting this rule differently. On this matter we highly
recommend you to contact the embassy or consulate of Azerbaijan
at your country out the nearest to your country.
