At the airport, you must fill out customs declaration. Customs declaration should be completed in two copies and the first copy should be left to customs officer and the second one you must keep by yourself. There is no limit on the amount of money while entering into Kyrgyzstan but while departure amount of currency must be less than it is stated in the declaration. Items of considerable value, such as jewelry, cameras, computers, etc., should be specified in the declaration while arriving. The above mentioned items must be taken by yourself while departure, otherwise you will be charged import taxes.  In Kyrgyzstan you can bring in duty-free cigarettes or up to 1000 up or up to 1000 grams of tobacco products, up to 1.5 liters of spirits and 2 liters of wine. You can bring in a reasonable amount of perfume for personal use. Customs inspection is sometimes long and detailed. Items purchased by travelers in Kyrgyzstan, such as handicrafts, ceramics and newly produced goods can be freely exported from the country.
