Urban transport in
Kazakhstan is mainly represented by buses and "minibuses". In
Almaty trams are used as well. The fare on the "shuttles"
slightly higher than in ordinary city buses, but they run more
often and late. The fare is usually marked on the windshield,
side window or in the cabin.
Taxi is in all major cities. The price must be negotiated in
advance. Taxis can be ordered by phone, online or just catch in
the street.
