The most convenient way to travel within Armenia is on buses. Between the cities minibuses briskly scurrying, the fare of which is more than moderate. In the streets of Yerevan scheduled minibuses run almost without a pause in which the target position can be reached for just 100 AMD. In Yerevan between cities traveling by taxi is also very cheap. For 1 km in a taxi it will cost the same 100 AMD. Besides, you can rent a taxi for the day at a bargain price.
It is easy to see the sights of Armenia while you have organized tours. From the capital to Gyumri, Alaverdi and Lake Sevan can be reached by train, but the journey is quite long due to low speed and "Soviet-style" comfort.
There are not internal flights between two airports of Armenia - Yerevan and Gyumri.
