Import and export of foreign currency to Armenia is
unlimited, be sure to fill the customs declaration and save it
until you leave the country.
The sum of 10 thousand
USD or more (or its equivalent in other
currency) should be transferred only by bank. Import and export
of local currency is prohibited. Free of duty is allowed for
alcoholic beverages up to 2 liters and up to 50 packs of
tobacco, personal and other goods worth not more than
500 USD. If the amount exceeds 500 USD, customs duty will be
applied.
The import of drugs,
poisons and explosives, weapons and ammunition is
prohibited. Permission of the authorities is required for import
and export of antiques, precious stones, coins, manuscripts
and other works of art.
